Internet savvy? Let's break it down.

First, you need to find an internet service provider that works for you. There are two types of internet connections. You have either a cable or fiber internet connection or a DSL connection that hooks up to your phone line. Once you figure out what kind of internet works for you, you need to figure out what modem and router you'll need.
A modem is a device that brings the internet to your house and a router is a device that the internet connection to your computers, tablets, phones, and other internet capable devices that you have. You need both devices in order to effectively use the internet and stream content seamlessly between devices.
Once you have the internet connected, you'll use a web browser to look up information. The most popular browsers include Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, and Safari on apple products. Most have similar features and don't cost money so you can use each one to figure out which one you like best without paying any fees.
When using the internet to access personal health information there may be important information that you may want to save for easy access at a later time. There are two ways to save information; one is to save it directly onto your hard drive and the other one is to save it on "the cloud". The cloud is just a metaphor for the internet meaning that you can save information on the internet that you can gain access to anywhere you are and at any time you wish. This beats having to lug around the computer that contains important information on the hard drive.
